Reporting on Puerto Rico Property Rights

In 2018 I was awarded a grant by the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting to lead a team of investigative reporters to write a series stories on property rights in Puerto Rico post Hurricane Maria.
My investigative team and I worked with Northwestern University to develop an interactive map informing Puerto Rico residents on the flood maps lines updated by FEMA.
Education Reporting

The Fresno Bee is a Pulitzer Prize winning daily newspaper located in the city of Fresno. I was among the inaugural team of the Bee’s and McClatchy’s first Education Lab. As an engagement reporter I worked with communities to understand and tell stories from the ground up.
