Totally Buggin’ Over Loungefly’s New Clueless Backpacks? Same.

As if we could possibly miss out on the latest Loungefly drop! The brand just released two adorable new mini backpacks inspired by the iconic plaid outfits of Cher Horowitz and Dionne Davenport from Clueless, and yes, they’re everything.
The release celebrates the 30th anniversary of the 1995 teen classic, and features:
Two plaid-patterned mini backpacks (Cher’s yellow and Dionne’s black & white) and a set of Clueless mystery box pins all of which are available now on Loungefly’s official website.
Each backpack retails for $80, and the blind box pins go for $12 each — a small price to pay for a major ‘90s fashion statement.
“Clueless stands the test of time and even now, 30 years later, it is synonymous with both pop culture and fashion, two core pillars of the Loungefly brand,” said Aneesah Williams, Senior Director of Marketing at Loungely.
Clueless remains a cultural touchstone for a reason. It’s fashion-forward, endlessly quotable (“Ugh, as if!”), and cleverly based on another timeless classic: Emma by Jane Austen.
While the standout fashion moments — like Cher’s computerized closet and Dionne’s hat game — made it unforgettable, the movie’s real power lies in its heart and relatability.
For many of us who grew up with the film, it shaped our sense of style and self-expression. Now, with these Loungefly bags, we get to bring that joy into our everyday wardrobes.
“Bringing these iconic outfits to life for the first time is the perfect way to give our audience an ultimate dose of ‘90s nostalgia,” added Williams. So if you’re totally buggin’ over how to get your hands on them, don’t stress. You can head to Loungefly and grab yours before they’re so out.
