After 13 years Deadfast Ghoulia will make her zombie comeback to San Diego Comic Con in 2024.
Mattel Creations has been steadily announcing their SDCC 2024 exclusives on their Unlock Fandom page. Among the announcements is the return of Deadfast Ghoulia. The doll will retail for $75 and will go for sale at SDCC 2024, and on the Mattel Creations website on July 25.
This will be the third SDCC Exclusive to be released since the relaunch of the macabre and punny doll line. The first two being Voltageous Frankie in 2022 and Freak Du Chic Draculaura in 2023.
But this is not the first Deadfast Ghoulia to hit SDCC.
During the hight of the first Monster High wave, Mattel released an SDCC Exclusive Deadfast Ghoulia in 2011. The doll sold out and today is nearly impossible to obtain without dropping some serious cash. On secondary markets like ebay most in box dolls of the 2011 Deadfast Ghoulia are sold for upwards of $1500. (Yikes)
